A lifelong love of classic cars began early for River, whose very first purchase was a 1963 Plymouth Valiant 4-door with a push-button transmission. Known for their distinctive styling and famously “indestructible” Slant Six engine, the Plymouth Valiants captured her heart - and quickly became the foundation of a growing collection.

Built around the world from 1960 to the mid 1970s, Valiants are more than just cars; they’re a piece of automotive history. Their engines proved so reliable, they were later used in a wide range of Dodge and industrial vehicles - a true testament to their engineering.

After acquiring her second Valiant in 2020, River dove deeper into the mechanical side of things, building hands-on knowledge and expanding her fleet to include every Valiant model from 1963 to 1966. Her collection now features stations wagons, a 1965 convertible, a 1964 and 1966 Barracuda, and several rare two- and four-dour models - each with its own story and soul.

Driven by a desire to share the timeless charm and visual beauty of these classics, River founded ValGal Motors - a unique rental service offering chauffeured rides for weddings, graduations, date nights, and more. Recognizing how photogenic these vintage machines are, she also offers rentals for photo shoots, complete with optional photography packages.
